Marketing / Business Development / Sales Internship

The position is a paid, part-time internship to work on the marketing, sales, and business development. We are looking for someone who can creatively drive the branding and marketing campaigns for our website, TaxiFareFinder.com.

The position offers flexible/variable hours and remote work arrangement (i.e. work from home). The candidate must be located in the Greater Boston area and preferably with or working towards a marketing or business degree. Previous experience in online marketing and advertising is a plus but not required.

We are looking for a motivated individual who wants to get marketing experience in a fast-moving industry, while having flexible and variable hours. This is a great way to build up your resume while in school and managing the study load.

Tasks include:

• Run email advertising campaigns to target audience
• Share and promote TaxiFareFinder on Internet forums and social media sites
• Distribute promotional goods to raise awareness
• Advertise TaxiFareFinder.com on other websites and advertising outlets
• Build relationships with users, target companies, and advertisers
• Sell advertisements on TaxiFarefinder.com
• Help us improve branding, SEO, and messaging of the site.
• Help us write content for blogs and social media sites.

TaxiFareFinder.com is a market leader with great reputation and significant growth potential. We are planning to keep the initial internship term to 3 months or one semester; however, it could turn into a long-term or full time position, if it proves to be of value.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, or related.
• Excellent *written* communication and organizational skills
• Ability to commit minimum of 10 hours per week for assigned tasks
• A solid commitment to the program for the duration of a semester or agreed term.
• A solid computer skills and familiarity with Internet, email, social networking sites, etc.
