What is Gett Taxi?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Gett, previously\nknown as GetTaxi, is an Israeli-based startup that connects customers with black car corporate\nrides and taxis. Gett allows you to hail cars immediately or book them for\nlater. Gett\u2019s main pledge is that they will never surge and their prices are\npretty competitive ($10 rides anywhere in Manhattan, for up to 30 minutes and 4\nmiles). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gett also has a\nrewards program for their frequent riders. Gett calls these riders\n\u201cGett-Setters\u201d and through using Gett they earn points towards free rides and\neven gain invitations to exclusive Gett events. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gett offers a\nvariety of services from wheelchair accessible rides, environmentally friendly\noptions, XL vehicles, as well as standard taxis. Gett also acquired Juno\nrideshare in 2017 for $200 million, adding three more service options to their\noffering, Bliss, Lux, and SUV.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gett is also a\npopular choice among corporate clients as the app provides a full business\noffering. Gett is currently available in 80 cities globally including New York,\nLondon, Moscow, St Petersburg, Jerusalem and Tel Aviv.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How to signup\nfor Gett and Juno<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Signing up for Gett is similar to signing up for Uber! Simply follow these steps to download the app and sign up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Download the Gett app (if\nyou\u2019re located in Israel, Russia, or the U.K.) or the Juno app (if you\u2019re\nlocated in the U.S.)<\/li>
  2. Enter your phone number.<\/li>
  3. When you receive your\nconfirmation code, type it in on the app.<\/li>
  4. Enter your email address\nand tap \u201cNext.\u201d If you\u2019re signing up on Gett, you should be fully registered by\nthis step. If you\u2019re signing up for Juno, continue onto the following steps.<\/li>
  5. Enter your desired\npassword, then tap \u201cNext.\u201d<\/li>
  6. Type in your first name,\nthen tap \u201cNext.\u201d<\/li>
  7. Type in your last name,\nthen tap \u201cCreate Account.\u201d<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Once you are all signed up, you will want to complete your profile with a profile picture and add your preferred payment method to your account. Gett and Juno both accept credit and debit cards, while Juno also further accepts Google Pay and Apple Pay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    How much does Gett cost?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

    Gett\u2019s costs vary by country and region with some areas charging by the meter and others by flat rates. Further, while Gett pledges to not have surge pricing, Juno (which they acquired) does have \u201chigh-demand pricing\u201d or surge pricing.
